We have been doing this for about 10 years now and we have been living here for almost 20 years, so we have definitely seen Los Cabos grow massively.
For those who don’t know how this company started, two American friends saw an opportunity 12 years ago when there was no other company in charge to fully dedicate themselves to the childcare service in Los Cabos. So they started Baja Babysitting. They built the client list, talked to concierges at hotels and made a website to start this business, little did they know they hit the gold mine since Los Cabos has been growing every year with the tourists that come with kids.
Only after two years of already having a pretty successful business they decided to leave and go back to the states but not without leaving and training the best babysitter that ever worked at the company and that is my sister, Diana Oropeza.
Gillian trained Diana to take over the managing and business side to talk to clients, hire babysitters, what qualities to look for what to ask from parents, etc, So not just only the CEO side of business but also HR and have what we call a sixth sense to hire the perfect girls to match the company values vision and mission.
Diana knew she wanted to be the very best company of Los Cabos and I can honestly say that after 12 years of existing there’s no other company you should considering when it comes to take care of your children, and i’m not saying this as a proud sister or being a part of the company for 8 years. I have taken care of over 100 families throughout the years myself and I know I remember every kid and family I have worked with.
As Diana’s manager but also a sitter I have also picked up so many returning clients and have seen so many kids grow up to love this town just as much as I do but I also know what it takes to give a great service, connect and bond with the kids we get to meet and I just want to keep helping everybody with this new series.
