SAN JOSE DEL CABO

Here Are Our Recommendations For San Jose del Cabo Hotels

Now that we have covered the hotels in Cabo and the corridor, we move to San Jose del Cabo. If this is your first time traveling here, we can assure you that the beauty and magic of this town will be like nothing you have seen before and also the charm it will leave in you.
San Jose is known for the colorful streets in Downton, the food, the panoramic views, the contrast of the ocean and desert, a place where is calm and family friendly, quieter compared to San Lucas, so yes it´s the perfect spot for traveling with your family.
Zadun, Ritz Carlton.
The first hotel we recommend is Zadun by Ritz Carlton, this gorgeous hotel is the representation of the magic of San Jose, where the landscape blends with one in the hotel, the cactus, the desert views are stunning. Super friendly service, they receive their guests and visitors with a lot of enthusiasm and it is a breeze of fresh air when our team works there. We are so grateful that we are the service the hotel recommends!
Besides that, the atmosphere for parents and kids is just perfect, they have something for everyone.
JW Marriott.
Marriott is near the same area of Zadun, it’s called Puerto Los Cabos and it’s in the Marina area of San Jose, which is a nice area, very peaceful, also 10 or less minute drive to some of the most famous restaurants, Floras Farm, Acre, Tamarindos, we will do another post about the restaurants, but it was important to mention.
This hotel also has a beautiful landscape where the ocean meets the desert. A lot of families like choosing this hotel so everyone can enjoy it. They have a kid’s pool, kids club, and so many wonderful areas to explore.
Cabo Surf.
Los Cabos is known for some of the best surfing in Mexico, for our surfer families, the name of this hotel says it all. Cabo Surf is a wonderful hotel for families that want a real Cabo experience, get the surf in the morning, and enjoy a beach day all in one. The food, the good and friendly service is something very characteristic of this hotel. Some of the best hamburgers and chicken tacos, Yummy! For the kiddos, pool and the beach right there, where they can build sandcastles, then go for a quick nap before catching sunset from your balcony or 7 seas at their restaurant. Lots of love for this hotel, one of the OG, if you want this kind of experience think no more and contact them to book with them.
We have been working with them for so many years and we are so happy to have them in our recommendation list.
Viceroy.
For more of a modern hotel we recommend Viceroy, unique, quirky, the design of this hotel is like any other. Known for the famous nest restaurant, if you want to experience staying here, we recommend it for the good service and friend staff.
One important thing to mention is that it has a lot of water areas, so coming from a childcare provider perspective is something to keep in mind. However, remember none of the hotels or villas here are childproof, as our responsibility to give you the best recommendation is to mention that constant supervision in any hotel is extremely important and that’s when we come in! to come and help you have a time to relax and unwind while the kids are being taken care of.
Cabo Azul.
An iconic hotel in SJD, has been open for many years now and it’s the favorite of many, Cabo Azul is in the heart of the hotel street. Very centric as well to walk downtown, the shops in front of Plaza Pescador and more. The atmosphere of this hotel is fantastic, they have beautiful areas, a big pool, kids club, nice rooms, or suites.
One downside is that like we were mentioning not all hotels are as welcoming with outside services and they are one of them. Before your sitter arrives if you decide to book her make sure to add her to your room list like a ¨GUEST. This will avoid many headaches that we won’t want you to have during your vacations.
Still gets in our recommendation list because of all the other positive things it has to offer and we believe it is a great option for families.
